They fill the distances to our next meeting"

They fill the distances to our next meeting"

Jinxed says: Crimes and rebel youth are the themes of the fifth album of Owen Ashworth. Sounding more organic, Owen left his casiotone, the drum-machine and hugged new instruments. Pianos, organ and even a acustic guitar are the surprises of this album. The fun "Otimist Vs. The Silent Alarm (When The Saints Go Marching In)” is the high point of the album, a piano balad with a excellent organ in the end dictate a evangelist aspect to the song. "The Choir Boy Robber, Apprehended at Ace Hardware in Libertyville, IL" is notable with a percussive piano and hip-hop beats. The old eletronic beats appears few times like in "Harsh The Herald Angels Sing", "White Jetta" and "Killers" remember how Casiotone used to be.
The album can look disappointing to older fans, but listen it to the end and listen it again will be unavoidable. This album puts Owen to a status of indie "Johnny Cash".
“We could be killers
Just for one night”

A divertida "Optimist Vs. The Silent Alarm (When The Saints Go Marching In)” é o ponto forte do album, uma balada piano com um excelente orgão ao final ditando um aspecto evangélico a canção.

I guess I’ll just quit smoking

when all I really want is you close to me,
but you were already out the door
by the time that occurred to me"
