Passion Pit - Manners (2009)

'You were one inch from the edge of this bed
I drag you back a sleepyhead, sleepyhead"
~Sleepyhead

Poo says: First full-length studio album of this versatile and dynamic dance synth band.
Passion Pit propose is make dance music for people which don´t like to move their bones this way. Falsetto vocal into samples and dance beats are the formula and makes me remind about MGMT or even Aqueduct with a strong pop lead, making it seen to be into an identity crisis .
I was hoping for an album full of hits and unfortunate just got half of it, most of the good tracks are in the beginning like "Little Secrets", "Moth´s Wings" and "The Reeling" while the masterpiece "Sleepyhead" steal all the glittering in the end. The album end with the feeling that Passion Pit are hiding something to deliver their real grip in proper time.

"Whose side are you on?
What side is this anyway?
Put down your sword and crown
Come lay with me on the ground"
~ Moth's Wings
